Celebrate Irish culture at the 2017 Irish Fest New Orleans! This annual event is put on by Irish businesses owners across the New Orleans area. Together, they present an event that’s perfect for the entire family, complete with Irish food, live music, dancing, and more! Join in on the fun at this year’s festival on September 16.
2017 Irish Fest New Orleans
Irish Fest New Orleans emphasizes Irish culture and traditions through a modern day celebration at The Kingsley House. It is put on by the Irish Fest New Orleans Board, a non-profit organization made up of Irish business owners in the area. This festival showcases fine Irish food, Irish music, an all-day dance competition, pony rides, a play area for the kids, and lots of vendors with unique items. The goal of this event is to the raise awareness of (and increase appreciation for) the Irish arts to people throughout the area.
2017 marks the fourth year of the festival. To attend, head out to The Kingsley House on September 16 between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 if purchased in advance and $15 at the gate. Are you planning to bring the kids along? Children under 12 receive free entry! So, be sure to invite your children and all of their friends to this exciting festival.
